On June 19th, following the annual assembly held at Marina Port Vell, the Barcelona Clúster Nàutic hosted its long-awaited Summer Meetup — an event that has become a key date for the city’s nautical community.
The event began with a participatory assembly where the 2024 activities and financials were presented, along with the proposed budget for 2025. New members were also welcomed, reflecting the cluster’s ongoing growth and the increasing interest in collaborative work within the sector.
After the assembly, and thanks to the collaboration of This is MED by Julia, attendees enjoyed a boat ride along the Barcelona coastline. It was a privileged opportunity for networking in a relaxed setting, especially between new and long-standing cluster members. For just over an hour, we had the chance to view the silhouette of a city so deeply connected to the sea, and even identify some of the partner companies visible from the coast.
But beyond the setting and the agenda, what truly made this Summer Meetup special was the atmosphere of cohesion, dialogue, and collaboration. It was a real source of pride to witness how naturally conversations flowed, how members exchanged ideas and perspectives, and how the essential bonds that help grow the sector were strengthened.
We would like to thank all the members who joined us for this meaningful occasion. The strength of our sector lies in its people and in our ability to work together towards a common goal: to strengthen and promote the nautical industry as an economic, sustainable, and inclusive driver for the city of Barcelona.
